Seahorse Sprint - Begins at 8 a.m. Car Show and Festival - Begin at 10:30 a.m. / End at 4 p.m. Profits From Fin Fest will be shared by the following organizations:
· Legacy CTX - Funds will support Legacy CTX’s ongoing work, specifically their Little Food Pantries program, which provides 24/7 access to food for families in need across Central Texas. · New Tech High School - As one of the key partners in making Fin Fest possible, New Tech High School will receive a share of the funds to use in upgrading the student collaborative spaces. · Heart of Texas Corvette Club - The Corvette Club will use their portion to fund scholarships for high school students pursuing careers in automotive mechanics, and to support programming at the Temple VA, continuing their commitment to veterans. |
Seahorse Sprint & Car Show🚗 Online Registration is Now Closed
Don’t worry—you can still join the fun! On-site registration will be available for the Fin Fest Car Show only. 💲 Registration Fee: $25 per vehicle 📍 Location: Pace Park 🕘 Registration: 9:00 a.m. - 10:20 a.m., October 4, 2025 ⚠️ Please note: Same-day registration is not available for the Seahorse Sprint. *Spectators are FREE What is the Seahorse Sprint? The Seahorse Sprint is a fun and interactive event modeled after the concept of a poker run. Participants will travel along a scenic loop route with 4 to 5 historic stops located throughout Central Texas, beginning and ending at Pace Park in Salado. At each stop, participants will draw a sea creature from a bag. The twist? You won’t know the point value assigned to each sea creature until the very end of the Sprint. Once everyone completes the route and returns to Pace Park, the values will be revealed. The participant whose sea creatures add up to the highest total score will be declared the winner! Along the way, participants will also enjoy learning interesting historical facts and stories about each stop, making the Seahorse Sprint both a fun adventure and an educational experience. Seahorse Sprint Winner will be announced after all vehicles have returned in the morning. Car Show Awards Categories: 🏆 Best in Show 🚓 Most Likely to Get Into a High-Speed Pursuit 💘 Most Likely to Pick Up a Hot Chick 🧟♂️ Most Likely to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse Car Show Winners will be announced at the close of the show—don’t miss your chance to take home bragging rights and a unique prize! 
Mermaid and Sea Creature Costume Contest
Calling all kiddos ages 12 and under, put on your best mermaid or sea creature costume and strut your stuff during our costume contest.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place.
